Tap into the “hidden demand” for your program

Every buying decision starts with a Trigger Event.

A point in your life when you begin to consider making a purchase.

It could be an add you saw on instagram, a positive pregnancy test, or a job layoff.

No matter what it is, that event triggers a series of decisions that may lead to a sale.

But here's the rub…

The Trigger Event can happen weeks, months, even years before a purchase is made.

In fact, when you analyze a portfolio of leads, 50% of them will never buy anything from you.

Of the 50% of leads who do buy, 15% will purchase in the first 90 days (we call this the Short-Head), whereas 85% will convert after 90 days (we call this the Long-Tail.)

Here’s a image that illustrates what I’m talking about:

What most email marketing “experts” will tell you is to focus on Short-Head conversions.

  • Spend weeks creating ads for Google and Instagram
  • Build out a complicated marketing funnel to pressure them into making a decision.
  • And if after 30 days they still haven’t bought anything then move them onto your “dead lead” list so you can promote affiliate offers and (maybe) make some money down the road.

There’s just one problem with this:

When you focus all your time and resources on high-pressure marketing strategies to generate short-term sales...

...you miss out on 85% of the revenue in your business.

Do some quick math with me. Take the total revenue your company made in the last 12 months and multiply it by 5.5.

That's the approximate revenue you're missing out on.

That’s why you need a conversion system (I call mine The Conversion Incubator) that let’s you communicate with your list in a cool and helpful way until they’re ready to buy.

Your goal is to be “top of mind” when your prospect is finally ready to buy…

And to have built enough credibility and trust that they can’t imagine working with anyone else.

When you have a system like this it allows you to tap into what I call “Hidden Demand”.

Hidden demand is represented by the individuals in your audience or on your list who are looking for help with something specific – but they’re not coming forward to work with you directly in your program.

In my new workshop: Conversion Velocity happening next Thursday @1PM ET/10AM PT I’ll show you how I tap into this hidden demand using different dimensions of emotion so you can draw out those on your list who are suffering and need your help right now.

Then I’ll show you my proprietary system for email marketing that allows me to send 5-7 promotional emails a week without burning out my list - or myself.

I’ll share the 5 categories of offers I make,

And I’ll even give you the sales pages, email copy and offers I wrote for each one so you can model them in your business.

This is a concerning poll. I posted this poll on Twitter 4 days ago. Keep in mind my followers are all entrepreneurs copywriters and small business owners. 52% of them don’t have an email list. Of the ones who do - 21.4% of them aren’t using it at all! Here’s why that’s so shocking… Email has a 34:1 return on investment. That means for every $1 you invest in email marketing it returns you $34. Put another way - Email has a 3,300% return on your investment. There is no other marketing channel...

From:Jason StapletonScottsdale, AZFriday, 10:43 a.m. Hello again my friend, If you’re not emailing your list regularly you’re losing money. You don’t have to make it more complicated than that. If you want more money, make more offers. But HOW you make those offers matters a lot. So today I want to show you how I get away with emailing my list every day and still have an open rate of 48.24%. A Case For Emailing Every Day You might not realize it but I email you at least 5 times a week....

Storytelling should be required learning in school. Just like math and English. Sadly it’s one more example of how our education system has failed us. But fear not dear reader!
